3 GREAT HACKS

#1💎
Why we like it: We're big fans of this IKEA Kallax hack, and we love the detailed step-by-step guide provided. It's a straightforward process that transforms a standard Kallax unit into a chic and customized piece of furniture. White oak veneer, hairpin legs, and Begräipa door handles add a sophisticated touch, while the repurposed desk top provides a unique finish. With just a few easy steps, you get a personalized, stylish cabinet that can brighten any room.
#2💎
Why we like it: This study transformation is a testament to patience and creativity, demonstrating that IKEA units can morph into bespoke built-ins! The units, beautifully painted in Coat Paint's 'Pampas', blend harmoniously with Cormar Carpets' 'Flagstone'. The stylish chair and lamp complete the inviting space.
#3💎
Why we like it: Here's a brilliant furniture transformation we love! A much-needed dresser upgrade resulted in an ultimate hybrid, beautifully combining elements from four vendors. Black cabinet boxes from Swedeboxx, walnut fronts from Semihandmade, IKEA drawers, and legs and pulls from Norse Interiors merge to create this stylish and functional piece. It turned out great!

1 PRO TIP
Hey everyone! I received the following question this week.
Question: I need to mount my IKEA furniture on the wall for safety, but I'm unsure how to do it. Can you guide me through the process?
Answer: Mounting your furniture to the wall is a crucial step for safety, particularly for taller items that can tip over. Here's how you can go about it:
Check the Assembly Instructions: IKEA generally provides specific instructions on how to secure furniture to the wall, including the use of included safety brackets or straps. Refer to these instructions as your primary guide.
Locate the Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the studs in your wall. These are the most secure points to which you can attach your furniture. If a stud isn't available in the desired location, you will need to use a suitable wall anchor.
Mark the Points: Once you've located the studs, hold up the mounting bracket or furniture in the exact location you want it and use a pencil to mark where the screws will go. Make sure it's level using a bubble level tool.
Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. If you're drilling into a stud, make sure the pilot hole is smaller than the size of your screw. If you're using a wall anchor, the hole should be big enough to fit the anchor snugly.
Attach the Bracket or Furniture: Position the furniture or bracket over the pilot holes, then screw it into the wall. Be careful not to over-tighten, as this can strip the hole or damage the wall.
Check Stability: Give your furniture a gentle shake to ensure it's firmly attached to the wall. You may need to tighten the screws or reposition the furniture if it moves.
Please remember that every piece of furniture and every wall type is unique. Hanging furniture poses a significant liability risk. It is essential to ensure proper installation and secure mounting to prevent accidents and injuries. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and consult professionals if needed. Prioritize safety and minimize liability by taking necessary precautions when hanging furniture.

IDEA OF THE WEEK
THE IDEA: A modern IKEA hack using the BESTÅ storage unit. The unit has been transformed into a sleek, minimalist sideboard. The unit is elevated off the ground on a custom-built platform, giving it a floating effect.
