Why we like it: We are loving this imaginative Trofast hack that has transformed an everyday unit into a vibrant art area for kids. The creator cleverly attached an IKEA Skadis pegboard using connectors, making a display for supplies that's functional and fun. It features Flisat stools from IKEA, and despite the base, it's comfortable for kids of all ages. This hack showcases the creative potential in everyday IKEA units to create unique, child-friendly spaces!

Why we like it: These chic bedroom wardrobes are top-notch! The smart use of MD018 floor molding at the bottom and DP16 molding on the top brings a stylish built-in vibe. Kudos to @vidargatan_deco for such a tasteful execution; we're excited to see more of their work.
#3💎
Why we like it: We love the ingenuity of utilizing the 20 cm depth Besta units in narrow hallways. It's a brilliant solution for maximizing storage while maintaining an open, uncluttered space.

1 PRO TIP
Hey everyone! I received the following question this week.
Question: I recently purchased some IKEA furniture and I want to personalize it by adding some unique legs. However, I'm not sure how to go about it. Can you guide me through the process of adding legs to IKEA furniture?
Answer: Adding legs to IKEA furniture is a great way to personalize your pieces and add a touch of your own style. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Choose Your Legs: First, decide on the type of legs you want to add to your furniture. A wide variety of furniture legs are available online or at your local home improvement store. They come in all shapes, sizes, and materials, so you can choose what suits your style and the specific piece of furniture.
Remove Existing Legs (if any): If your furniture piece already has legs, you'll need to remove them first. Most IKEA furniture legs are screwed on, so this usually involves simply unscrewing them.
Measure and Mark the Placement: Decide where you want to place the new legs. Make sure to measure and mark the exact locations to ensure the legs are evenly spaced and the furniture will stand level.
Pre-drill Holes: Once you've marked the placement for the new legs, you'll need to pre-drill holes for the screws. Use a drill bit that's slightly smaller than the screws you'll be using. Be careful not to drill all the way through the furniture if it's not solid wood.
Attach Mounting Plates: If your new legs come with mounting plates (a flat piece of metal with multiple holes that the leg screws into), you'll need to attach these to the furniture first. Align the plate with your pre-drilled holes and screw it into place.
Screw in the Legs: Now you're ready to screw in the new legs. If they attach via mounting plates, screw them into the plates. If they're meant to screw directly into the furniture, screw them into the pre-drilled holes.
Double-Check Your Work: Once all the legs are attached, give the furniture a wiggle to make sure it's stable. Check that all legs are securely attached and the furniture is level.
A couple of notes:
Always take into account the weight and size of your furniture when choosing legs; not all legs are suitable for all types of furniture.
For pieces like dressers or shelving units that will bear a lot of weight, you may want to use a T-nut and bolt attachment rather than just screws. This will provide more strength and stability.
It's also worth noting that some companies specialize in making legs specifically for IKEA furniture, which can make this process even easier!
